Softpedia – (International) FAKEM RATs disguise their traffic as Yahoo Messenger to avoid detection. A white paper published by Trend Micro detailed the way remote access Trojans known as FAKEM disguise its traffic to appear as commonly used applications or HTML to avoid detection.
